Hello dear reader, I’m Meg. I have no official culinary training – unless you count my early restaurant training which taught me a trick or two – but I’ve inherited a gene which predisposes me to cooking from scratch. My first culinary memory was making a miniature peach pie with my grandmother. My mother subscribes to the “too many recipes, too little time” method of cooking. I have a wonderful husband, a handsome feline, and a career, but I still find time to make it from scratch (most of the time anyway).
